Information about the processing of personal data when visiting this website and when using the accompaniment offered — pursuant to Art. 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2 · Principles

We process personal data only where necessary to provide a functioning website and our services, or where explicit consent has been given. We collect as little data as possible, do not sell it to third parties, and do not engage in profiling or automated decision-making under Art. 22 GDPR.

Data you share with us in the context of an accompaniment is treated in strict confidence and never passed on.

3 · Definitions

This policy uses the terms defined in Art. 4 GDPR — in particular "personal data", "processing", "consent", "processor", "recipient" and "third country".

5 · Server log files

Every time the site is accessed, the hosting provider automatically records information in log files:

  • IP address (anonymised by the hosting provider in the log files)
  • Date and time of the request
  • URL accessed and HTTP status code
  • Data volume transferred
  • Browser, operating system and referrer

6 · Cookies & local storage

This website uses only technically necessary cookies and browser local storage to provide basic functionality (e.g. remembering the last visited variant). No cookies are used for advertising, tracking or profiling purposes.

The legal basis for technically necessary cookies is § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7 · Contact form and email

When you use the contact form or send an email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number, message content) in order to answer your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

Email provider
Email sent to hello (at) liminallovedoula.berlin is delivered and stored by Proton Mail (Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland). Switzerland is recognised by the EU Commission as ensuring an adequate level of data protection under Art. 45 GDPR, so no additional transfer safeguards are required.

8a · Appointment booking via Zeeg

The "Book a free intro call" function is provided by Zeeg GmbH, Friedrichstraße 114A, 10117 Berlin, Germany. When you book an appointment, Zeeg processes the data you enter (name, email address, selected time).

8 · Newsletter and “The Letters” via Brevo

The newsletter signup forms on this website — including the sign-up for “The Letters”, sent on each new moon — are operated via Brevo SAS, 55 rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France. When you submit your email address, it is transferred to and stored by Brevo, who sends you a confirmation email (double opt-in) before adding you to the list. The newsletter covers updates on Threshold Circles, new offerings, and occasional letters from the practice.

9 · Client data during accompaniment

When an accompaniment takes place, we process necessary personal data (name, contact details, optionally billing address) and session notes.

Carrying out the accompaniment contract, invoicing, fulfilment of statutory retention obligations
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation)
Special categories
Where health data are processed, this is done on the basis of your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR.
Retention
Session notes are retained after the end of the accompaniment in accordance with professional guidance; invoicing records for 10 years under § 147 AO.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is integral to the accompaniment agreement and is maintained without exception.

10 · Web fonts

This website uses web fonts (Marcellus, Instrument Serif, Geist, Geist Mono) served via Bunny Fonts (Bunnysway d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 151, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia). Bunny Fonts is a GDPR-compliant European font delivery service. No IP addresses are logged and no data is transferred outside the EU.

11 · Analytics, reach measurement, advertising

This website does not use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Matomo or comparable services. No reach measurement with profiling or retargeting takes place.

12 · Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

13 · Right to lodge a complaint

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
